WHAT IS A SESSION LIKE?

Before a family or child portrait session, we will talk and figure out what type of session you’d like and what will best represent your style.  Sessions are comfortable and relaxed.  We might spend a few minutes chatting and getting to know each other.  If you are wanting family shots, then we will probably start with those.  I’ll give you some suggestions and ask you to be yourself and pretend that I am not there (as much as possible!)  We might do something silly and we might not.  I will NOT ask you to say “cheese” or any other silly words.  We will definitely talk and begin to feel comfortable around one another.   I always hope to capture a variety of posed and candid shots.  My favorite images tend to be the more non-traditional shots that capture a moment or show personality.  These will probably be your most treasured images as well.
If you are hiring me to shoot your wedding, we will meet early on to communicate about the flow of your day, what you have planned, and your vision for your photographs.  Hopefully, we will plan a time to take some engagement shots.  Not only are engagement photos great for announcements and to display at your reception, but they are also a great way for us to get to know one another–an important aspect to  wonderful images on your wedding day.

I N V E S T M E N T

PORTRAIT Session Fee $200

Your non-refundable session fee includes my time and talent for 1-2 hours, a custom shoot at your home or a location of your choosing, 25-30 images presented in an online gallery.  The session fee does not include any images (prints or digital).  A small travel fee applies to sessions outside of Utah County.

All clients pay the session fee prior to the scheduled session.  Prints or digital images are available from A LA CARTE price lists or through popular package options.  Packages begin at $800 and represent a significant savings from A LA CARTE pricing.

I have no minimum order requirement, however, clients typically plan to invest $1200 to $3000 to guarantee a gorgeous wall display of images in their home, a beautiful collection of images mounted either in a handmade album or display box, as well as an assortment of gift prints for friends and family.

I use only professional grade papers, using the highest quality standards available.  Albums and Image Boxes are of amazing quality.  Wall prints are mounted on 1/8″ (3 mm) styrene–the best mounting material available.  Fine Art Canvas Wraps will last for generations.

Wedding rates begin at $2500.  Please call or email me to set up a consultation.

The Fine Print

1.  The Session Fee must be paid in full within one week of being scheduled to hold your session date.

2.  Photo Galleries are available for ordering for 4 days (you will be able to choose the 4 days they are available to accommodate your schedule) to ensure that Gayle can be available to give individual attention to each client,  to help with the ordering process, or make wall gallery suggestions.  If you must delay ordering, images can be archived for a weekly fee of $50 (up to 3 months) until your order is placed.

3.  Ordered images are archived for one year, while unordered images are purged six weeks after your session.

4.  Payment of your portrait order is due in full when you place the order.  Due to the nature of custom photography, all sales are final.
